As we enhance our global expansion efforts and go-to-market strategy, we are looking for an enthusiastic Senior Creative and Brand Specialist to join our high performing Marketing team.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
Reporting to our Senior Manager, Content and Creative, the Senior Creative and Brand Specialist will design and produce creative solutions across different media, including email, web, social media, paid ads, interactive experiences and print design. You'll help tell the story of our brand, creating beautiful, purposeful designs that take into account conversion goals and drive business objectives. You'll collaborate on a daily basis with other members of the Marketing department and other departments in the company to assist with design and visual identity needs across the organization.
The successful candidate will understand the imperative of building an emotional connection with customers through visual identity and design to increase brand sentiment and equity. We are seeking a collaborative, energized individual to drive our creative program to the next level.
More specifically, your responsibilities will include:
- Design and produce a wide range of deliverables for social media, email, web, landing pages, digital paid ads and print-based projects across marketing and communications channels.
- Support all aspects of the creative process — from concept to completion, design and production.
- Create emotional connections between our brand and our customers through powerful visuals.
- Research, test, and implement conversion-focused layouts and design elements.
- Stay on top of creative and design trends, with the ability to create current, impactful, modern, and relevant designs that are applicable to a cross-section of our customer base.
- Think holistically through design problems to develop strategic solutions.
- Manage your own workflow and timeline to produce high quality work on time and on scope.
- Format research-based information, such as market reports, newsletters, infographics, statistical graphs, charts and tables, and PowerPoint presentations to visually compelling final deliverables.
- Take full ownership as project manager of all assigned projects including assisting in determining project strategy and deadlines, gathering content, and coordinating outsourced vendors.
- Provide exceptional internal client service.
- Be a brand champion and ensure consistency in our visual identity across our team and company.
- Achieve established goals and leverage defined KPIs to determine the effectiveness of creative assets
- Review creative KPIs and develop recommendations for improvements
- Research and leverage new creative and design tactics, strategies, and technology to support the function (e.g. developing a plan for AI application across design)
- Assist in developing and ensuring consistent application of the creative development and quality assurance processes
- Develop and enforce Riva’s corporate brand style guide and visual identity, including consistency creative styles by channel and audience
- Ensure consistency in branding throughout content and communications channels
- Work with and manage external service providers, such as agencies and freelance writers, as required
- Additional duties and projects as assigned
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE
- Graduation from a post-secondary institution with a diploma or degree in graphic design, motion graphics, or a related field
- 3+ years of proven experience performing a similar function in enterprise B2B SaaS design and brand—with clear contributions to strategy through to delivery
- Understand the importance of conversion rate optimization
- A self-starter who can design and be proactive without defined solutions
- A strategic thinker, able to look at a problem and work through design requirements while considering the big picture
- A creative powerhouse, able to drive new campaign concepts, visual ideas, and design executions from start to finish
- Can iterate quickly, articulate design decisions clearly, and seek feedback throughout your creative process
- Fluent in Adobe CC suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat), and Figma
- Can navigate within a fast-paced and multiple-task environment and operate with a sense of urgency to meet timelines
- Experience working closely with executives and Sales teams to respond to requests for proposals and for sales enablement support—providing recommendations to support increasing sales velocity at each pipeline stage
- You possess a high degree of emotional intelligence, with the ability to be an effective team-player in a cross-functional environment
- Highly organized with excellent time management skills
- Detail-oriented with a high standard of quality
- Proactive and resourceful in problem-solving
- Experience across marketing functions with a solid understanding of how they work together to drive revenue generation and nurturing
- Experience using the Microsoft 365 suite of tools
- The ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing, ambiguous work environment
- The ability to work remotely while still driving results across the business and teams

- Experience designing for highly-regulated industries and enterprise organizations
- Experience in an agency environment is considered an asset
- Experience in motion graphics, illustration, photography, and video editing is considered an asset
- Experience in UX design, HTML, CSS and front-end development (WordPress)
- Experience and knowledge of SaaS product UI/UX design is considered an asset
- Advanced knowledge of prompt engineering to enhance creative development leveraging AI tools is a differentiator
